Ingredients
  • 2 cups packed fresh basil (I love Gotham Greens’ Holy Basil)
  • ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon pine nuts
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Juice of ½ small lemon
  • A little Himalayan salt crystal (optional)
  • A little cracked pepper (optional)
Directions
  • Step 1 Place the basil and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarse lay chopped. Add the olive oil and pulse until combined. Add the lemon juice and pulse to combine. Optional: add a little salt and pepper.
