2 cups packed fresh basil (I love Gotham Greens’ Holy Basil)
¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon pine nuts
½ cup olive oil
Juice of ½ small lemon
A little Himalayan salt crystal (optional)
A little cracked pepper (optional)
Step 1Place the basil and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarse lay chopped. Add the olive oil and pulse until combined. Add the lemon juice and pulse to combine. Optional: add a little salt and pepper.
