Avocado Toast

Ingredients
- 1/2 to 1 avocado, sliced
- TOPPINGS
- - fresh herbs like cilantro, basil or parsley
- - greens like arugula or broccoli sprouts
- - roasted squash like delicata
- - tomatoes
- - radishes, thinly sliced
- - fresh figs
- - salt + freshly ground pepper
- - smoked paprika
- - ‘parmesan’ sprinkles or nutritional yeast
- - nut cheese, feta, or goat cheese
- - a fried egg
- - lemon juice
- - olive oil or hot pepper oil
Directions
- Step 1 Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit. Scoop some of the avocado onto the toast and mash it with a fork.
- Step 2 Garnish with your favorite seasonings, herbs, vegetables, and protein.
